About Mircea Coca, MD

Mircea Coca, MD, PhD is a medical and surgical retina specialist with Everett & Hurite Ophthalmic Association in Pittsburgh, PA, serving Uptown, the South Side, Oakland and the greater Pittsburgh area. He evaluates and treats diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, macular holes, flashes and floaters, retinal vein and artery occlusions, uveitis and eye trauma, with a special interest in sutured intraocular lenses. Care includes retinal imaging, intravitreal injections, laser treatment and vitreoretinal surgery. Dr. Coca earned his MD at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed a surgical retina fellowship at Chicagoland Retinal Consultants. He is accepting new patients.
